Port Arrivals Increased, Silicon Metal Social Inventory Increased [SMM Silicon Inventory]

SMM statistics showed that as of November 1, the national social inventory of silicon metal totaled 502,000 mt, up 4,000 mt WoW. Among them, the inventory in general social warehouses was 159,000 mt, up 5,000 mt WoW, and the inventory in social delivery warehouses was 343,000 mt (including parts not registered as warehouse warrants), down 1,000 mt WoW. Last week, arrivals in Guangdong increased, leading to an increase in inventory, while inventory in various warehouses in Xinjiang showed mixed changes with a slight overall decrease. Recently, railway transportation capacity in Xinjiang has been tight, and road transportation costs have also risen.
